Work Hard And Play Hard At WeWork Miami

The WeWork location in Miami Beach proves that not all co-working spaces are created equal. With it’s sleek design and great location, it’s the perfect place for anyone to get work done and enjoy themselves while they’re doing it.

Having opened in the summer of 2015, the Miami Beach location was definitely created with it’s members in mind. WeWork stresses the importance of it’s members feeling like they are part of a community, that’s why each of the four floors has a common area as well as coffee bars and snacks so that members can interact and get to know one another. Because there are many different companies, freelancers, and entrepreneurs that have office spaces in the building, the open layout of the area makes it really easy to get to know your neighbor.

The office spaces themselves are really nice too. You can have your own private office, or a desk in a shared office. There are also conference rooms and phone booths available, should you need them. And of course, office supplies such as printers and copiers.

Believe it or not, this is a conference room!

The goal of WeWork is to make life easier for their members so that they can do what they love. And so far, they’re doing an excellent job. The Miami Beach location is currently at 90% capacity, and they’ve had so much success that two more locations will be opening in Miami later this year. I wasn’t surprised to hear of how quickly they’re growing, though. The amenities are great (did I mention they have FREE beer on tap?), all of the employees are super friendly and helpful, they host tons of events that are great for networking, and their memberships are really flexible as well.

For those bloggers and freelancers who are always traveling, but need a sense of structure to create and produce great work, I think WeWork would be the perfect fit. The workspace simply exudes creativity and innovation.

  1. Wow. I’d love to work in a space like this. Writing is a LONELY business. If I ever end up in Miami, I’m checking it out.

  2. I really like this concept. I’ve worked from home by myself for years and it gets boring. It would be nice to have some coworkers around.

    1. I agree, it’s always nice to take a break and mingle from time to time.

  3. We had our first co-work experience this year in Chiang Mai and loved it but it wasn’t nearly as cool as We Work looks. Free beer on tap? What?

  4. This looks like a truly awesome co-working space. I love the open spaces mixed with private work areas, not to mention the free beer.

    1. Hi Mindi! Yes, the space definitely has a lot to offer. 🙂

  5. What a great space! Working from home has benefits but there are definitely days where I would love to share a space with others…this would be a great solution!

    1. I completely agree Elena, sometimes you need that human interaction! 🙂

  6. What a great looking and fun co-working space. I’ve been to 2 co-working spaces – Santa Monica and Buenos Aires and this one sounds like fun. Will check it out when in Miami.

  7. Wow!! I’d absolutely love to work in a space like this. It is great to connect with other people who are working there, too. They have lots of these kinds of work spaces in Toronto but this one def looks like something special!

  8. I always love the idea of co-working spaces. This one looks fantastic–the decor is right up my alley and that’s so cool they have free beer on tap! I don’t think I’d regularly work at a place like this because I have a weird sleep schedule and typically do most of my work in the middle of the night. But, I would love to go in once in awhile for a change of pace–it would be so nice to have a convenient and beautiful space like this to work in from time to time!

    1. Well Jenna, you’re in luck because this space is open 24/7 for it’s members! 🙂

  9. I’ve visited various co-working spaces but most are members only once you’re past the initial visit. Nice to hear of this solution for Miami entrepreneurs and digital nomads.

    1. It is members only here as well, but the plans are very flexible and can be done on a monthly basis.

  10. What a brilliant concept. A modern-day agora! A place wherein people would be able to engage in discourse and be surrounded by the great energy of inquisitive minds. People underestimate the importance of reaching out and making connections with people nowadays since we all get too caught up in the hustle and grind of daily life so an institution such as this would really do wonders! Exciting times!

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more Trisha! Making those human connections are so important!
