The Cowfish: A Sushi Burger Bar In Orlando

Hungry after a long day at the Universal theme parks? Then how about stopping by the first and only “Sushi Burger Bar,” located in fun and vibrant CityWalk!

Yes, you read that right. Sushi and burgers! Two things I love, conveniently located in one restaurant: The Cowfish. It sounds funky right? And that’s exactly why I wanted to go there. I wanted to try something different, and to me, this restaurant stood out from the other restaurants at Universal’s CityWalk.

So in case you’re wondering, CityWalk is this awesome area outside of the entrances to Universal’s Islands of Adventures and Universal Studios Florida. It’s approximately 30 acres and has a movie theater, mini golf, shops, bars, clubs, and of course restaurants. And The Cowfish is right smack in the middle of all of it.

Although the decor inside was bright and colorful, we chose to eat outside on the covered patio so we could enjoy the awesome view and do some people watching.

And then there was the food… For an appetizer, we ordered Parmesan Bacon Truffle Fries that were to die for! Then we ordered The King’s Roll which had tuna, kani, jalapeño, cream cheese, scallions, and was coated with panko and then fried.

For my main course I had The C.B.C.L.T. which was a beef burger with cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Cowfish sauce on a brioche bun.

My friend had The Jalapeño Popper Show-Stopper which was a beef burger with jalapeño-infused cream cheese, jalapeño bacon, fried jalapeños, jalapeño citris aioli, lettuce, tomato, and fresh sliced jalapeños on a brioche bun.

And because there’s always room for dessert… I had a New York Style Cheesecake and my friend had a Warm Coconut Almond Cake.

We were pretty much in a comatose state after all of that delicious food. I’m glad we had a good spot on the patio so we could relax with our very full but happy bellies. Oh, and I must mention that our waiter Ben was so awesome. He was really nice and very attentive.

I highly recommend a visit to The Cowfish if you’re visiting Orlando. Not only is the food amazing, but it’s also a unique and fun restaurant unlike any other.
