Siren’s Table at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is quickly becoming one of Fort Lauderdale Beach’s most popular hot spots. With fresh food, signature cocktails, and ocean views, it’s easy to see why!
We recently spent time at Siren’s Table, both with a group of blogger friends and with one of my best friends. Both times the service was amazing and everything we ate and drank was delicious. During our first visit, we were given samples of a few of their signature meals and some of their specialty cocktails. A highlight of the visit was getting to talk to some of the managers and the head chef, all of which were very passionate about the restaurant and it’s food.
As the evening progressed, we learned that on Friday and Saturday nights Siren’s Table has a band playing live music. As soon as we heard they played reggae we knew we’d be back and that prompted our second visit. Again, the food was perfect, the service impeccable, and the drinks were dangerously delicious.
Siren’s Table has a large variety of seafood and steak dishes. During our first visit we enjoyed roasted marcona almonds with lavender sea salt, an ahi tuna tartare tostada, a spinach and watermelon salad, a lobster bisque, the butter and lemon basted scallops, a dry aged prime New York strip, and a passion fruit panna cotta for dessert. Everything had amazing flavor but our two favorites were the scallops and the New York strip. The scallops were accompanied with a creamy risotto and the strip was so juicy and tender it felt like it melted in our mouths. During our second visit, we ordered two appetizers: marinated olives that came with flatbread and stir fried calamari. We loved the flatbread so much, we easily could’ve eaten twice as much. And the vietnamese chili sauce that came on the calamari really gave it a nice kick.
Not only does Siren’s Table have great food, but they also have a large assortment of specialty drinks, beers, and wines. During our two visits we tried a few of their wines and cocktails. Our favorite wine was a Riesling from Washington State called Kung Fu Girl. It’s hard to pick a favorite cocktail though. Their signature drink Siren’s Song is made with Tito’s vodka, lemon juice, hibiscus syrup, pineapple juice and was perfect to sip on while we waited for our food to arrive. We also really liked the Queen’s Park Swizzle with Bacardi 8, simple syrup, mint, lime juice, angostura bitters.
The atmosphere at Siren’s Table was also great. Everyone was having a good time, relaxing, and enjoying the view. While we were there we saw couples, families, and groups of friends so it’s the perfect place to share a meal and drinks with the people you love. We especially recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday night to enjoy the live music.
